The Greatest Role Model a Woman Could Have

MY ROLE MODEL

You may think that my role model is a celebrity of some kind, maybe even a musician or author. If you did, I must inform you that could be further from the truth. My role model is a woman who reminds me a lot of the picture above of the woman sitting in a chair holding her purse and a cup of coffee. She is eccentric, God fearing, and the most adoring person you could ever meet. From feeding the homeless year round to taking flowers to people she doesn’t know that well whom are in the hospital–she loves unconditionally and is extremely selfless.

I grew up calling her “Mama D”, my biological grandmother.
Mama D is gone now, the Lord took her home on November 29, 2011. She had lived for years with an enlarged heart which was known only to her because she did not want to worry the rest of us with her condition. Mama D was the kind of woman you could call at any hour with a problem an instead of getting upset about being woken up, or the reason for the call, she would pray with you.

There is on one in the world like her and I miss her everyday.  I wish she could come back home to us but I know she isn’t suffering anymore.  If anyone could have a role model like her then they would be the luckiest people in the world!

    1. Thank you very much. Sorry I haven’t been writing lately. This new job keeps me very busy and doesn’t give me much time to write once I get home from work. I am trying to incorporate some free time into my schedule for writing because I do miss it. Thank you again!

    1. I am not very technical in some areas so WordPress blogs made it real easy for me to get the feel of how they work, how I can play around with the themes, and just the blogging experience as a whole. I would just start with the free blog you can get on here and don’t be afraid to explore and experiment with it! I wish you the best and good luck to you!

Hope you have a great week!

    1. I appreciate you leaving me a comment and I am glad that you like my site. I am trying to get better about writing more and posting to here. Please excuse me for the length of time it took me to reply to you. Not having a computer for a couple of months can put one pretty far behind.

I really do appreciate it and I hope you have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you kindly. I am very pleased to hear you liked it. I can’t speak for other writers but I can say that for me I can be very critical of myself and my writing capabilities. So it always helps when people leave comments so I can see if I am doing a good job or if there are areas I need to make improvements.

Thanks again and I hope you have a great weekend!
